Uline often sells one physical geometry under several SKUs that differ only by material and finish, not by layout. Uline is the highest-duplication brand in our corpus (a ~0.56 duplication ratio), which means roughly half its catalog is material variants of geometries it already sells. For templates, that is good news: pick the template by geometry and it works across the material variants.
It looks confusing on the Uline site: four SKUs, four product pages, one shape. But the confusion is about paper stock (weatherproof, removable, high-gloss, standard), not about where the labels sit on the sheet.
The value-brand shipping clusters
Uline anchors two of the larger value-brand shipping Layout Families in our data: the 6-up cluster (Uline S-15187, LF-0030) and the 10-up cluster (Uline S-15186, LF-0028). Notably, Avery is not a member of these families. The Uline shipping geometry is its own thing, so an Avery shipping template will not map onto it.
How to template Uline
- Choose the template by the layout (6-up, 10-up, and so on), not the SKU number.
- Ignore the material suffix. It does not change the print geometry.
- Do not reach for an Avery template for Uline shipping labels. They are separate families.
